The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1721 (#Ḥadīth #15)

15ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيهِما السَّلام) قَالَ مَا فِي الْمِيزَانِ شَيْءٌ أَثْقَلَ مِنَ الصَّلاةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَتُوضَعُ أَعْمَالُهُ فِي الْمِيزَانِ فَتَمِيلُ بِهِ فَيُخْرِجُ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) الصَّلاةَ عَلَيْهِ فَيَضَعُهَا فِي مِيزَانِهِ فَيَرْجَحُ بِهِ.

15. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from abu Ayyub from Muhammad ibn Muslim from one of the two Imams who has said the following: “On the balance there will be no other thing as heavy as asking from Allah al-Salat (favors) for the Holy Prophet and his family. A man will place his deeds on the balance and it will tilt. Then he will bring forth his deed of asking from Allah al-Salat for the Holy Prophet and his family to place on the balance and it will weigh heavy in his favor.”
