The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1723 (#Ḥadīth #17)
Chapter 20 | Asking Favors from Allah for the Holy Prophet, Muhammad and his Family, recipient of divine supreme covenant
17. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhsin ibn Ahmad from Aban al-Ahmar from ‘Abd al-Salam ibn al-Nu’aym who has said the following: “Once I said to Abu ‘Abdillah ‘I entered the house and I did not remember any prayer except asking from Allah al-Salat (favors) for the Holy Prophet and his family.’ The Imam said, ‘You should know that no one has come up with something better than what you have.’”
