Chapter 21 | The Necessary Mention of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, in Every Gathering

6. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from ibn Ri’ab from al-Halabi from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘It is not an offense to speak of Allah when you are urinating; speaking of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, is good in all conditions. Do not feel embarrassed about it.’”

Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
