The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1734 (#Ḥadīth #7)
Chapter 21 | The Necessary Mention of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, in Every Gathering
7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, sent revelations to Moses saying, ‘Moses, do not be very happy about great wealth and do not avoid speaking of Me in all conditions. Great wealth causes one to forget his sins and ignoring to speak of Me hardens his heart.’”
