Chapter 23 | Lightning Does Not Affect One Who Speaks of Allah

1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّبَّاحِ الْكِنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ يَمُوتُ الْمُؤْمِنُ بِكُلِّ مِيتَةٍ إِلا الصَّاعِقَةَ لا تَأْخُذُهُ وَهُوَ يَذْكُرُ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn Isma’Il from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from abu al-Sabbah al- Kinani from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “A believing person may die by any form of death except lightning that will not hit him when he is speaking of Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious,.”
