Chapter 27 | Praise and Glorification
2ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) أَيُّ الأعْمَالِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَالَ أَنْ تَحْمَدَهُ.
2. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ali ibn al-Husayn from Sayf ibn ‘Amirah from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following: “Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah ‘What deed is the most beloved to Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy?’ The Imam said, ‘It is your deed of praising Him.’”
