The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1887 (#Ḥadīth #10)

10ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ قَالَ بِسْمِ الله خَرَجْتُ وَعَلَى الله تَوَكَّلْتُ لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِالله.

10. Al-Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from more than one person from Aban from abu Hamza who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far when coming out of the house would say, ‘In the name of Allah, I have come out, in Allah I have place my trust, and there are no means and no power without Allah.’”
