The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1914 (#Ḥadīth #10)

10ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ مُفَضَّلِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قُلِ اللهمَّ أَوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ فِي رِزْقِي وَامْدُدْ لِي فِي عُمُرِي وَاجْعَلْ لِي مِمَّنْ يَنْتَصِرُ بِهِ لِدِينِكَ وَلا تَسْتَبْدِلْ بِي غَيْرِي.

10. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from certain individuals of his people from Mufaddal ibn Mazid from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Say, ‘O Lord, expand my sustenance, grant me a long life, make me of those through whom you provide support for Your religion and do not replace me by the others.’”
