Chapter 56 | Supplications for Healing Ailments and Diseases
13ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الثُّمَالِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ إِذَا اشْتَكَى الإنْسَانُ فَلْيَقُلْ بِسْمِ الله وَبِالله وَمُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ الله وَأَعُوذُ بِقُدْرَةِ الله عَلَى مَا يَشَاءُ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ.
13. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Nasr from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from al-Thumali from abu Ja’far who has said the following: “Whenever one has complains of pain, he should say, ‘In the name of Allah, with (the help of) Allah, and through Muhammad the Messenger of Allah, I seek protection with the majesty of Allah and I seek protection with the power of Allah over everything that He wills, against what I feel.’”
