10 - علي بن إبراهيم، عن أبيه، عن ابن أبي عمير، عن محمد بن أبي حمزة، عن أبيه قال: رأيت علي بن الحسين (عليهما السلام) في فناء الكعبة في الليل وهو يصلي فأطال القيامحتى جعل مرة يتوكأ على رجله اليمنى ومرة على رجله اليسرى ثم سمعته يقول بصوت كأنه باك: " يا سيدي تعذبني وحبك في قلبي؟ أما وعزتك لئن فعلت لتجمعن بيني وبين قوم طال ما عاديتهم فيك " (1).

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Muhammad ibn abu Hamza from his father who has said the following: “Once I saw Ali ibn al-Husayn praying in the vicinity of al-Ka’bah in the night. He prolonged in standing so much so that he would lean on his right leg once and then on the left leg. Then I heard him saying with a crying voice, ‘O my Master, will You punish me while there is Your love in my heart? If You will do so You will be placing me together with the people with whom, just for Your sake, I had been enemies all along.’”
