14 - عدة من أصحابنا، عن سهل بن زياد، وعلي بن إبراهيم، عن أبيه عن ابن محبوب، عن أبي حمزة، عن علي بن الحسين (عليهما السلام) قال: كان أمير المؤمنين(صلوات الله عليه) يقول: " اللهم من علي بالتوكل عليك والتفويض إليك والرضا بقدرك والتسليم لأمرك، حتى لا أحب تعجيل ما أخرت ولا تأخير ما عجلت يا رب العالمين ".

14. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn Mahbub from abu Hamza from Ali ibn al- Husayn who has said the following: “Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib would say, ‘O Lord, oblige me with the ability to place my trust in You and leave my affairs in Your hands, agree with Your measures, submit to Your command so that I do not love the hastening of what You have delayed or the delay of what You have hastened, O Lord of the worlds.’”
