The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 2022 (#Ḥadīth #7)

7ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ آبَائِهِ (عَلَيهِم السَّلام) قَالَ شَكَا رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) وَجَعاً فِي صَدْرِهِ فَقَالَ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) اسْتَشْفِ بِالْقُرْآنِ فَإِنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ وَشِفاءٌ لِما فِي الصُّدُورِ.

7. Ali has narrated from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Once a man complained to the Holy Prophet for having pain in his chest and he said, ‘Seek a cure from the Holy Quran; Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, says, “It is a cure for that which is in the chest (the heart).”’
