The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 2063 (#Ḥadīth #2)

2ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الضَّرِيرِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ إِنَّهُ لَيُعْجِبُنِي أَنْ يَكُونَ فِي الْبَيْتِ مُصْحَفٌ يَطْرُدُ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِهِ الشَّيَاطِينَ.

It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ali ibn al-Husayn from al-Hassan al-Darir from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, T love the presence of a copy of the Holy Quran in a house; Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, thereby wards off devils.’”
