The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 2099 (#Ḥadīth #12)

12ـ عَنْهُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) إِنَّ سُورَةَ الأنْعَامِ نَزَلَتْ جُمْلَةً شَيَّعَهَا سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ حَتَّى أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) فَعَظَّمُوهَا وَبَجَّلُوهَا فَإِنَّ اسْمَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيهَا فِي سَبْعِينَ مَوْضِعاً وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي قِرَاءَتِهَا مَا تَرَكُوهَا.

12. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn abu Hamza in a marfu’ manner from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Chapter six ( al-An ’am) was revealed all in one piece escorted by seventy thousand angels until it came down upon Muhammad . You must maintain its greatness and respect it. The name of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, is mentioned therein at seventy places. Had people known what is in reading it, they would not have ignored it.”
