Chapter 14 | The Rare Ahadith
24ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله الأعْرَجِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ ثُمَّ يَنْسَاهُ ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُهُ ثُمَّ يَنْسَاهُ أَ عَلَيْهِ فِيهِ حَرَجٌ فَقَالَ لا.
24. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Safwan from Sa’id ibn ‘Abd Allah al-A’Raj who has said the following: “Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah about a man who reads the Holy Quran but then he forgets, he reads again and forgets. Is it an offense? The Imam said, ‘No, it is not an offense.’”
