The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 2183 (#Ḥadīth #8)

8ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ الْبَادِي بِالسَّلامِ أَوْلَى بِالله وَبِرَسُولِهِ.

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “The initiator of the offering of the greeting of peace is closer to Allah and His Messenger.”
