The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 2258 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ وَأَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَوْفٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ الْمَجَالِسُ بِالأمَانَةِ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad and Ahmad ibn Muhammad all from ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from ibn abu ‘Awf who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah saying, ‘Meetings are trusts (in the hands of the attendants).”’
