Chapter 22 | Sitting in a Leaning or Folded Posture in the Mosque

4ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَحْتَبِي بِثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ يُغَطِّي عَوْرَتَهُ فَلا بَأْسَ.

4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama’a who has said the following: “Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah about a man who uses one piece of cloth for al- ‘Ihtiba’. The Imam said, ‘If it covers his private parts then it is not an offense.’”
