Chapter 7 | Believers as Offspring of Unbelievers
2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ali ibn Yaqtin from abu al-Hassan Musa who has said the following: “Once I said to the Imam, ‘I am afraid of the prayer of Abu ‘Abdillah against Yaqtin and his offspring.’ The Imam said, ‘O abu al-Hassan, it is not as you think. A believer in the back of an unbeliever is like a small piece of stone in a brick. Rain can wash away the brick but it never harms the solid piece of stone.’”
