The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 2305 (#Ḥadīth #8)

8ـ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّهِيكِيِّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ الْخَيَّاطِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) حُسْنُ الْجِوَارِ يَعْمُرُ الدِّيَارَ وَيَزِيدُ فِي الأعْمَارِ.

8. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from al-Nahiki from Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid from al-Hakam al-Khayyat who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘Maintaining good neighborly relations increases the development of the country and one’s life span.’”
