The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 241 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ الصَّبْرُ رَأْسُ الإيمَانِ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from Ali ibn Ri’ab from ibn abu Ya’fur from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘Patience is the head of belief.”
