The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 303 (#Ḥadīth #8)

8ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ الْبِرُّ وَحُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ يَعْمُرَانِ الدِّيَارَ وَيَزِيدَانِ فِي الأعْمَارِ.

8. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘Virtuous deeds and excellent moral behavior develop the cities and add to longevity of life.’”
