The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 332 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الإيمَانِ وَالإيمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from Ali ibn Ri’ab from abu ‘Ubayda al-Hadhdha’ from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘Bashfulness is from belief and belief is in paradise.’”
