The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 367 (#Ḥadīth #6)

6ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) كَفَى بِالْحِلْمِ نَاصِراً وَقَالَ إِذَا لَمْ تَكُنْ حَلِيماً فَتَحَلَّمْ.

6. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from certain individuals of his people in a marfu’ manner from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘Forbearance is enough as a helper’ and he said, ‘If you are not a forbearing person at least pretend to be like a forebearing person.’”
