Chapter 58 | Friendliness

1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قُفْلاً وَقُفْلُ الإيمَانِ الرِّفْقُ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from his father from who he has mentioned (in his book) from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu Layla from his father from abu Ja’far who has said the following: “For everything there is a lock and the lock for belief is friendliness.”
