The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 746 (#Ḥadīth #4)

4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ الثُّمَالِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيهِما السَّلام) قَالَ مَنْ كَسَا مُؤْمِناً كَسَاهُ الله مِنَ الثِّيَابِ الْخُضْرِ وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثٍ آخَرَ لا يَزَالُ فِي ضَمَانِ الله مَا دَامَ عَلَيْهِ سِلْكٌ.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Ibrahim ibn ‘Umar from abu Hamza al-Thumali from Ali ibn al-Husayn who has said the following: ’’Whoever provides clothes for a believer, for his reward Allah will dress him all in green.’ In another Hadith he said, ‘He will live under the protection of Allah as long as a fiber of that clothes is on him (believer).’”
