The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 914 (#Ḥadīth #14)

14ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلَةً لا يَبْلُغُهَا عَبْدٌ إِلا بِالإبْتِلاءِ فِي جَسَدِهِ.

14. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Fudayl ibn ‘Uthman from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “In paradise there is a position that is accessible only to those who have gone through bodily trials of suffering in this world.”
