The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 967 (#Ḥadīth #8)

8ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَيُذْنِبُ الذَّنْبَ فَيُزْوَى عَنْهُ الرِّزْقُ.

8. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla ibn Muhammad from al- Washsha’ from Aban from al-Fudayl ibn Yasar from abu Ja’far who has said the following: “A servant (of Allah) commits a sin it causes a serious reduction in his means of living.”
