Chapter 6 | The Times of Maghrib and ‘Isha’ Salah (Prayer)
13ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لَوْ لاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لأَخَّرْتُ الْعِشَاءَ إِلَى ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ. وَرُوِيَ أَيْضاً إِلَى نِصْفِ اللَّيْلِ.
13. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from Aban from abu Basir from who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , has said that the Messenger of Allah has said, ‘If it was not because of al-Shafaq (bright redness), I would have delayed al-‘Isha’ Salah (prayer) up till passing of one-third of night.’” It is also narrated, “up till midnight.’”
