Chapter 15 | Women Performing Salah (Prayer) in Front of Men or Men Performing Salah (Prayer) With Women in Front (This chapter is best explained through the fatwas)
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) فِي الرَّجُلِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ يُصَلِّيَانِ فِي وَقْتٍ وَاحِدٍ الْمَرْأَةُ عَنْ يَمِينِ الرَّجُلِ بِحِذَاهُ قَالَ لاَ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ بَيْنَهُمَا شِبْرٌ أَوْ ذِرَاعٌ.
3. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Sinan from ibn Muskan from abu Basir from who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about a man and a woman performing Salah (prayer) at the same time and the woman is on his right parallel. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, unless there is a distance of one shibr or one yard between the two of them.’”
