Chapter 15 | Women Performing Salah (Prayer) in Front of Men or Men Performing Salah (Prayer) With Women in Front (This chapter is best explained through the fatwas)

5ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله الْقُمِّيِّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي وَبِحِيَالِهِ امْرَأَةٌ قَائِمَةٌ عَلَى فِرَاشِهَا جَنْبَتِهِ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَتْ قَاعِدَةً فَلاَ يَضُرُّهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ تُصَلِّي فَلاَ.

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from Ja‘far ibn Bashir from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman from Idris ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Qummiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about a man who performs Salah (prayer) and a woman is in his view, standing on furnishing on his side. He (the Imam) said, ‘If she is sitting, it is not harmful, but if she is performing Salah (prayer), then it is not acceptable.’”
