Chapter 17 | Weeping and Appealing for One’s Needs in Salah (prayer)
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنْ ذِكْرِ السُّورَةِ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ يَدْعُو بِهَا فِي الصَّلاَةِ مِثْلَ قُلْ هُوَ الله أَحَدٌ فَقَالَ إِذَا كُنْتَ تَدْعُو بِهَا فَلاَ بَأْسَ.
4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from ‘Ubayd ibn Zurarah who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about reading a chapter of the book in the form of an appeal for help in Salah (prayer) like Chapter 112. He (the Imam) said, ‘If you read it in the form of appeal for help it is not harmful.’”
