Chapter 18 | Commencement of Adhan, Iqamah, and the Excellence of Reading them

24ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ الْقُعُودُ بَيْنَ الأذَانِ وَالإِقَامَةِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ كُلِّهَا إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ قَبْلَ الإِقَامَةِ صَلاَةٌ يُصَلِّيهَا.

24. Muhammad ibn al-Husayn has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan , has said, ‘There is sitting between Adhan and ‘Iqamah for all Salah (prayer) if before ‘Iqamah, other Salah (prayer) is not performed.’”
