Chapter 25 | Sajdah, Readings and Recitations therein in Obligatory Salah (prayer) and Optional Salah (prayer) and Readings between the Two Sajdah

6ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَيَابَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) أَدْعُو وَأَنَا سَاجِدٌ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ فَادْعُ لِلدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ فَإِنَّهُ رَبُّ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ.

6. Ahmad ibn Muhammad from has narrated from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah from Aban from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Sayabah who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , ‘Can I plead (before Allah) in Sajdah (prostration)?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, you can do so. Plead for the worldly and the hereafter; He is the Lord of the world and the Lord of the life to come.’” (Hadith 6 is best explained by fatwa.)
