Chapter 31 | Al-Qunut in Obligatory and Optional Salah (prayer)
5ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْقُنُوتِ فَقَالَ فِي كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ فَرِيضَةٍ وَنَافِلَةٍ.
5. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan, from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Hajjaj who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about Qunut (supplication after recitation in second Rak‘at). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is in every Salah (prayer); obligatory or optional.’”
