Chapter 54 | A Prayer Leader Whose Wudu’ Is Invalid or Is without al-Qiblah (al-Ka‘bah)
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) فِي قَوْمٍ خَرَجُوا مِنْ خُرَاسَانَ أَوْ بَعْضِ الْجِبَالِ وَكَانَ يَؤُمُّهُمْ رَجُلٌ فَلَمَّا صَارُوا إِلَى الْكُوفَةِ عَلِمُوا أَنَّهُ يَهُودِيٌّ قَالَ لاَ يُعِيدُونَ.
4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain persons of his people who has said the following: “About the case of a people who traveled from certain mountainous area of Khurasan and a man would lead them in Salah (prayer), when in al-Kufah they found out that he was a Jew, Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘They are not required to perform their Salah (prayer) again.’”
