Chapter 55 | One Who Has Performed Salah (Prayer) but Wants to Join a Congregation or Has Led a People and Wants to Perform Again

1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) فِي الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي الصَّلاَةَ وَحْدَهُ ثُمَّ يَجِدُ جَمَاعَةً قَالَ يُصَلِّي مَعَهُمْ وَيَجْعَلُهَا الْفَرِيضَةَ.

Muhammad ibn ’Isma’il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn al-Bakhtariy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah , about a man who performs Salah (prayer) alone then finds a congregation. He (the Imam) said, ’He can perform Salah (prayer) with them and make it to be an obligatory one.”’
