Chapter 56 | One Performing Salah (Prayer) Partially behind an Imam Who then Asks Him to Lead because of Losing his Wudu’

2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) إِذَا لَمْ تُدْرِكْ تَكْبِيرَةَ الرُّكُوعِ فَلاَ تَدْخُلْ فِي تِلْكَ الرَّكْعَةِ.

Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Jamil ibn Darraj from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘If you cannot join in Takbir (Allah is great beyond description) for Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees) do not enter (congregational Salah (prayer)) in that Rak‘at.’”
