Chapter 60 | Kinds of Clothes in Which It Is Undesirable to Perform Salah (Prayer) As Well As Otherwise
20ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الدَّرَاهِمِ السُّودِ الَّتِي فِيهَا التَّمَاثِيلُ أَ يُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ وَهِيَ مَعَهُ فَقَالَ لاَ بَأْسَ إِذَا كَانَتْ مُوَارَاةً.
20. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Amir from Ali ibn Mahziyar from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about a man who performs Salah (prayer) with black dirhams which have portraits on them. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not an offense if they are hidden.’”
