The Sufficient (Vol 3) · Hadith 1558 (#Ḥadīth #21)

21ـ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ لاَ بُدَّ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ حِفْظِ بَضَائِعِهِمْ فَإِنْ صَلَّى وَهِيَ مَعَهُ فَلْتَكُنْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَلاَ يَجْعَلْ شَيْئاً مِنْهَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ.

21. In the narration of ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj narrated from him (the Imam) who has said the following: “He (the Imam) , has said, ‘ People must protect their properties. When performing Salah (prayer) with their belongings around, such things are kept behind them but are not placed between them and al-Qiblah (al-Ka‘bah).”
