Chapter 60 | Kinds of Clothes in Which It Is Undesirable to Perform Salah (Prayer) As Well As Otherwise
27ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ جَرَّاحٍ الْمَدَائِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْقَمِيصَ الْمَكْفُوفَ بِالدِّيبَاجِ وَيَكْرَهُ لِبَاسَ الْحَرِيرِ وَلِبَاسَ الْوَشْيِ وَيَكْرَهُ الْمِيثَرَةَ الْحَمْرَاءَ فَإِنَّهَا مِيثَرَةُ إِبْلِيسَ.
27. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from al-Barqiy from his father from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from al-Qasim ibn Sulayman from Jarrah al-Mad’iniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that he disliked wearing a shirt which has brocaded hems, cloths of silk embroideries and red saddlecloth; it is a saddlecloth of Satan.’”:
