Chapter 62 | Rules about Performing Salah (Prayer) With a Mask on One’s Face, with Dyes, Does not Take out One’s Hands from Under One’s Clothes during Salah (prayer)
1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ أَ يُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ وَهُوَ مُتَلَثِّمٌ فَقَالَ أَمَّا عَلَى الأرْضِ فَلاَ وَأَمَّا عَلَى الدَّابَّةِ فَلاَ بَأْسَ.
1. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan, from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Rib‘i, from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja‘far , about a man’s performing Salah (prayer) with his face veiled. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not permissible while on the ground; however, while riding on a stumper is not an offense.’”
