Chapter 65 | Rules about Salah (Prayer) of Fainted or Persons

2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الْمَرِيضِ يَقْضِي الصَّلاَةَ إِذَا أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لاَ.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hajjal from Tha’labah ibn Maymun from Ma‘mar ibn ‘Umar who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja‘far , about one suffering from illness if one is required to perform one’s Salah (prayer) again which is missed during the time of fainting condition. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, one is not required to perform such Salah (prayer) again.’”
