The Sufficient (Vol 3) · Hadith 1840 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) صَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَاسْتَخِرِ الله فَوَ الله مَا اسْتَخَارَ الله مُسْلِمٌ إِلاَّ خَارَ لَهُ الْبَتَّةَ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from al-Nadr ibn al-Suwayd from Yahya al-Halabiy from ‘Amr ibn Hurayth who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah , has said, ‘Perform two Rak‘at Salah (prayer) and ask Allah to chose for you what is good. By Allah, if a Muslim asks Allah to choose for him what is good, He certainly chooses for him as such.’”
