Chapter 25 | Certain Fluid, Which Is Other than Urine and Semen

4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الْمَذْيِ يَسِيلُ حَتَّى يُصِيبَ الْفَخِذَ فَقَالَ لاَ يَقْطَعُ صَلاَتَهُ وَلاَ يَغْسِلُهُ مِنْ فَخِذِهِ إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَخْرُجْ مِنْ مَخْرَجِ الْمَنِيِّ إِنَّمَا هُوَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ النُّخَامَةِ.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father, from Hammad, from Hariz, from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked Abu Ja‘far , about al-Madhiy which flows all the way to one’s thigh. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not necessary for one to discontinue one’s Salah (prayer) to wash it from one’s thigh. It does not come out of the passage from which semen comes. It is only like nasal mucus.
