Chapter 102 | Excellence of the Great Masjid of Kufah, Excellence of Performing Salah (prayer) and the Loveable places Therein
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَجَرَةَ عَنْ بَعْضِ وُلْدِ مِيثَمٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) يُصَلِّي إِلَى الأسْطُوَانَةِ السَّابِعَةِ مِمَّا يَلِي أَبْوَابَ كِنْدَةَ وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ السَّابِعَةِ مِقْدَارُ مَمَرِّ عَنْزٍ.
4. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from Ali ibn Shajarah from certain individuals of sons of Mitham who has said the following: “’Amir al-Mu’minin , would perform Salah (prayer) toward the seventh pillar which is before al-Kindah door with a remaining distance of the size of a goat between him and that pillar.”
