The Sufficient (Vol 3) · Hadith 1938 (#Ḥadīth #17)

17ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ وَجَدْنَا فِي كِتَابِ عَلِيٍّ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) إِذَا مُنِعَتِ الزَّكَاةُ مَنَعَتِ الأرْضُ بَرَكَاتِهَا.

17. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from Malik ibn ‘Atiyyah from abu Hamzah who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far , has said, ‘We have found in the book of Ali , that the Messenger of Allah said, ‘When paying zakat is refused, the land withholds her blessings.’”
