The Sufficient (Vol 3) · Hadith 2018 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1 - محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمد بن محمد، والحسين بن محمد، عن معلى بن محمد جميعا عن الحسن بن علي الوشاء، عن أبان، عن شعيب قال: قال أبو عبد الله (عليه السلام): كل شئ جر عليك المال فزكه وكل شئ ورثته أو وهب لك فاستقبل به.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad and al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad all from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from Aban from Shu’ayb who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah , has said, ‘Whatever you gain by means of assets, pay Zakat thereof and whatever you receive as inheritance or gift, pay Zakat thereof after a year passes.’”
