Chapter 35 | Semen or Al-Madhiy Comes in Contact with One’s Clothes or Body

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Um ay r from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar from Muyassir who has said the following: “I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah , ‘I instruct the slave-girl to wash my clothes because of semen, but she does not pay proper attention to washing and I perform Salah (prayer) in them and it (semen) is dry. He (the Imam) said, ‘You must do your Salah (prayer) again. Had you yourself washed it, you would not have been required to perform your Salah (prayer) again.’”
