Chapter 46 | Rare Ahadith about Wudu’
5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthman from Jarrah al-Hadhdha’ from Sama‘ah ibn Mehran who has said the following. “Abu al-Hassan, Musa , has said, ‘If one takes Wudu’ for Maghrib Salah (prayer), this Wudu’ is expiation for the sins committed during the day that has just passed, except the major sins. If one takes Wudu’ for morning Salah (prayer), this Wudu’ is expiation for the sins committed during the night that has just passed, except the major sins.’”
Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
